Quilting is a beautiful art form and handmade quilts are such an expression of love. I own a couple and I have made a couple myself and I cherish each and every one. So if you are someone who loves quilts and loves to sew, if you're a beginner or an experienced quilter and you're looking for a new project check out dashton4, a shop of pattern books published by Darcy Ashton, a self-published quilt book author.

These books also include various technique suggestions for hand and machine applique and they each come with their own little surprise, for instance, the cat pattern book comes with patterns for collars and bows so you can dress them up and add them to your cat design if you'd like. These pattern books will get you motivated to start your next quilting project so whether you're adding several designs to your quilt or just one block these patterns will definitely liven up your next quilt.

The dollcloset is filled to the brim with beautiful doll clothes for the 18" doll. I love this shop and the clothes are just darling. I have to admit that I have an 18" American Girl doll -- and I'm not a little girl by the way, not by a long shot. I bought the doll as a collector so she's tucked away, but if I did want to dress her up, these would be the clothes to check out. It does make me want to take her out of her box and dress her up -- these clothes would look so cute on her.

I came across these sweet little wristlets made by DeAnne DeSigns and thought I'd share them with you. I must admit I am envious of people who can sew. Now I mean I can sew by hand, use a machine, somewhat and quilt yes, but to actually sit down at a sewing machine and construct something as beautiful as these totes and wristlets, not gonna happen for me, I came to that realization a long time ago. So when I came across these I couldn't help but share them with everyone.
