Treasury and a Thank-You!

To my surprise and delight NanjoDogz was thrilled to be featured in two treasuries and would like to say thank you to the creators of each. The first treasury was a "A Case of the Blues", a lovely periwinkle blue treasury that featured my I Heart My Chihuahua; the treasury was created by hoorayforcrochet.

I'm starting out the New Year with a post about a wonderful seller RoseWorksJewelry. Ruth of RoseWorkJewelry is a fellow member of our Etsy Bloggers Street team, but I first had the pleasure of noticing Rose Work Jewelry's blog while I was blogging dropping my Entrecards. Then we ran into each other at Twitter and her ease of conversation got us chatting over there. It's so nice to have friends around the cyberworld to chat with because some days typing on the computer just don't cut it! Check out her shop and all of her wonderful jewelry. Ruth has now opened up a shop with her mom, kstreasures, which stands for Kindred Spirits, a mother/daughter dynamic duo team.

I always find myself going back to see what new creations have made their way into Dreamwoven, the shop that brings us these delightful hats. There isn't a piece in this shop that I don't like, there are definitely some unique and wonderful pieces for your head to be found here.

Holly Golightly Sleep Mask
I love crochet and used to do it myself, but it's just not something that stuck with me. That's not to say that I don't love crochet and knitting, I think it's fascinating the way that crocheters come up with some fresh and new ways to work with yarn. And the yarns that they have out today are so beautiful, if you are a crocheter those yarns excite and make you want to get busy with your hands!

You'll find a lot of crocheted lovelies at missindie including scarves, scarflettes, necklaces to bags and brooches. I've picked out two of my favorites from her shop, but I especially like her sleep mask because for me this would be a great addition to my sleepwear -- I like it dark in my bedroom, really dark, can't even stand the light from the TV and when I wake up sometimes the shades just don't cut it so this sleep mask would be perfect -- not to mention that it's absolutely adorable!

I love these crocheted items for the home and they come to us from Deb of Debz Creations, a fellow Etsy member and WIST (Wisconsin Street Team Member). Deb has various crocheted pieces in her shop that she calls "crocheted functional art for your home and body." I especially love these Soap Saver Socks, just slip a bar of soap in and start washing -- it's such a great idea! Deb also crochets various other pieces including totes, shawls and mittens.
