Can't an Old Girl Get Any Lovin?

How come all the younguns get loads of comments on their cute photos? I see all kinds of pictures of cute, little, adorable pups where tons of people are commenting on how cute, how precious, how adorable those pups are (including my mommy), but how come I can't get any "oh she's so cute and adorable?" All right, all right, so I'm middle-aged (okay, okay maybe a tad over middle-aged), a bit overweight and I do admit I have a few fat bumps, not to mention I'm a Doberman, I guess I'm not supposed to be cute as an adult, I'm supposed to be fierce looking, but geewilickers can't a gal get a little somethin somethin now and then -- not to boast, but I'm really, really smart :)

Dogs are Crazy for Obama

Since I heard that President elect Obama is looking for a new dog for the White House I wanted to let him know that the dogs of America are behind him. Even though I normally don't talk politics and I won't say who I voted for in the election -- but my dog was definitely backing Obama for Pres :). She even wore this button while out campaigning for the young Illinois Senator from our hometown! She's so happy that Obama will soon be in the White House, she's hoping that the economy will grow and she can get more scooby snacks.

She makes them in just about every breed and if you can't find your breed just contact her and if she has your breed, she'll make you one -- that's what I did and she made me one in a jiffy. She also has other great buttons in her shop.

Lena Look-a-Likes

These are just a few gifts I have received over the years that were given to me by family and friends who know how much I love my Lena. I have plenty more sculptures, pendants and various other Doberman Pinscher pieces that were given to me by various family member and friends -- they know where my heart lies. I am always thrilled to receive a gift from the people who know me the best and give me gifts that are given from the heart.

Cheap Sunglasses

I started a topic in my flickr group Dogs and Art where you enter your dog photo and add a song title and lyrics that fit the picture. I started with a photo of Lena. My stepdaughter always likes to dress Lena up and on this day she put her sunglasses on her, alas, the song Cheap Sunglasses by ZZ Top.
