Blue the Chinese Crested

I'd like everyone to meet Blue, an adorable Chinese Crested. I have to say the Chinese Crested is one of my favorite dogs to create and Blue was no exception, I mean look at that face. So when Blue's mommy asked me to make a bead for her I was more than happy to do so. You see Blue's mom makes the most adorable sweaters for pups and she wanted to dress up one of those sweaters with a little charm. The photo below shows the sweater and who's the greatest model, why Blue of course. His mommy's shop is forthetiny and she makes these wonderful sweaters, hoodies and cowls for the pups. I think one of my favorite items in her shop has to be the hoodie cowl below -- check out the little holes for the ears to pop through. How sweet!

Pugsy The Pug -- little tough guy

Here is he, introducing Pugsy the Pug, brother to Pugsta Gangsta and this Pug is just as cool. He is sporting a new gaffer hat that is embellished with a skull and crossbones. He is also wearing a new silver chain with a brand new medallion and he's got a heart tattooed on his arm. He's one tough cookie (not really -- as you can tell by his sweet expression he's really a softie).

Today I'm going to show one of my new Christmas sculptures that I have made for this season. This sweet English Bull Terrier is sitting patiently waiting for Christmas. She loves Christmas and can't wait for the snow to start falling and the season to begin.

The Bully sits with a silver plaque between her paws that reads "Snowflakes are Kisses from Heaven". She wears a large, bright red jingle bell tied at the neck with green ribbon and has two sprigs of holly at her tail.

The English Bull Terrier is hand-sculpted from polymer clay. The approximate is:
2-1/4" tall
1-1/2" wide front to back
1-3/4 wide side to side

Charlie the Chihuahua - The Little Bumblebee Tile

Charlie the Chihuahua has his favorite costume on. He so wanted to be a bumblebee this year for Halloween -- he's been so happy he hasn't been able to take that costume off since mom put it on him, he's been sleeping it in and everything. His costume is complete with bumblebee antennas, wings and his very own pumpkin basket to fill with tasty Scooby snacks.

The tile is hand-sculpted from polymer clay, the approximate size of the tile is is 1-1/2" square. It has green ribbon attached at the top for hanging. These tiles can hang just about anywhere, they can be worn and can also be used as a Christmas ornament. So sweet!

Bully the Pirate - English Bull Terrier Tile

Bully the English Bull Terrier is ready to go this Halloween in his pirate outfit. He's so happy he got to be the pirate this year! He just loves that costume and hasn't taken it off since he got it about a week ago.

This little guy is dressed up like a pirate complete with silver earring, sword and eye patch. He is dressed in a black and white striped top with red scarf. He has a silver earring in one ear and a black patch over his eye and holds a mighty sword in his hand (really it's just a butter knife, but we won't tell him that, he's so proud) and in the other hand he's holding his very own pumpkin basket to stash away all those tasty treats. Embedded in one corner of his tile is a silver treasure box with a mystery ring and pumpkin hanging down.

Approximate size of the tile is is 1-1/2" square. It has orange ribbon at the top for hanging. These tiles can hang just about anywhere, they can be worn and can also be used as a Christmas ornament. So sweet!

Dogs on Halloween

So do you dress up your dog for Halloween? Every year around Halloween I get these e-mails with photos of pups dressed up for Halloween and some are so cute and others downright hysterical. So that's what I'm wondering today, how many people out there do dress up their dogs and do you plan on dressing them this year? And if so what will they be? I know I won't be dressing up my dog because while she may let me put something on her head for about a second or two she'll paw it off almost immediately, she's not much into dressing up.

The tile above depicts adorable Penny the Pug dancing with glee that Halloween is almost here! She is dressed up like a little angel with glow in the dark wings, a silver halo and carrying her very own trick or treat pumpkin pail to get all those Halloween treats -- she's so excited! Approximate size of the tile is is 1-1/2" square. It hangs from orange ribbon.

Pomeranian Crystal Flower Pendant

The Pomeranian Crystal Flower Pendant depicts a hand-sculpted Pomeranian in golden and white. She sits on an oval base, there is a metal spiral stem extending out from the top side ending in a floral centered with a Swarovski crystal.

Approximate size of the pendant is 1-3/4" long from bail to bottom and 1" side to side.

Bloodhound Sculpted Art Tile

Hand-sculpted polymer clay Bloodhound art tile depicting a Bloodhound in profile surrounded by peacock feathers and a dragonfly.

The tile was first sculpted from clay, stamped and painted in gold and brown colors and highlighted in blue and green. The tile hangs from gold tone reclaimed jewelry chain with two handmade matching clay 'peacock' beads and two turquoise colored acrylic beads.

Little Molly is the sweetest and teeniest mermaid in the ocean. She has many friends who love to stop by and see what she's up to and sometimes she even goes for a swim with all of her fish friends.

Brent the Bumble Bee Bead

Brent the Bumble Bee -- If you're looking for trouble, you've come to the right place -- introducing Little Brent the Bumble Bee. He's a very scary bumble bee, he's out looking for people he can scare -- problem is nobody seems to get too frightened when they happen upon him.

Brent is a bead hand-sculpted from polymer clay. He has a yellow head, yellow and black striped body with a skull and crossbones tummy. His wings are made of glow in the dark clay so he glows a bit at night. He's got black feet and black ball antennas. He's a lil scary stinker.

The approximate size of the bead is:
1-4/8" tall top to bottom
1" side to side (antenna to antenna)
3/4" front to back of wings

The bead is pierced vertically from top of head to bottom.

Greyhound Trio Tile

Greyhound Trio Tile. The tile has three squares, in each square there is a Greyhound in profile sculpted from polymer clay. The tile is painted in yellow, pink and orange and distressed slightly. It hangs from silver tone chain intertwined with fibers and pink, yellow and light orange acrylic beads.

The approximate size of the tile is:
5" wide (side to side) x 2" long (top to bottom)
It hangs from approximately 8" from top of chain to bottom of tile.
