Does your pet ever get the flu or a 24 hour bug? Yesterday it seemed as though Lena was a bit under the weather or depressed, but she certainly wasn't herself. She didn't want to go out, although when she did she did go potty, but on the walk she walked about 10 steps behind me as if she just didn't want to go. She was dragging around the house all day yesterday, not sleeping in her usual spot. She ate and drank fine, although her nose was dry, but she just didn't seem herself. Now today thankfully she's back to normal. So the question is do your pets have days like this where they seem either sick or depressed?

Yes.. sometimes Dommy does.. when he's not feeling well.. he'll usually go to the garden and look for some grass to eat.. and he will throw up the grass in a while. The grass sorta helps them throw up.
After that... he will be well again.
Does Lena eats grass when she's not well?
She does eat grass sometimes when she's not feeling well, but yesterday was different, it was like she was depressed or something cuz she ate and went potty and everything, just seemed like she was down in the dumps, not her usual self.
Sadie has those days too when she's just not herself. Sometimes we can figure out what's bothering her but usually she just sleeps more than usual. Hope Lena continues to feel well!
Woof! I DO ... especially if it is cold or raining. I'm getting old too. Check with your vet if you have further concerns ... just to make sure. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Sometimes all they need is another doggy to cheer them up. What our dogs needs most are other doggie friends.
Dommy is usually without any smile sometimes for long periods. But when other doggies come by to visit.. he is big smiles all the way.
If she's still not her usual self..u should probably check with the vet. Hope she'll get well soon!
