The Man In The Mirror

So I've been on a Michael Jackson kick lately and it got me to thinking about him, his music and his career. I wondered why Michael Jackson went "Off The Wall" and started to get weird after such a great career in music.

Maybe he just wanted a little "Privacy" or maybe he couldn't escape his "Childhood" and then I thought maybe there was no one there when he needed to "Cry", no one there when he needed a "Smile" and most of all no one there to tell him when to stop, maybe no one had the courage to speak up to let him know he's going too far. I mean after all don't we all have it in ourselves to act a little "Bad" when there's no one there to tell us to stop, when we're making so much "Money" -- would we just say "Beat It" to everybody? I'm thinking that maybe it's just "Human Nature", that we all have this behavior in us when you make so much money and there's no one to stop you -- and I want to tell Michael "You're Not Alone".

But in the end I still ask myself when he looks at the "Man In the Mirror" does he "Scream", is he "Speechless", is he happy with the man he's become or does he look back and think, "Do You Remember The Time" or does he just stare in that mirror and think "Who Is It"?

No matter what you may think about MJ you can't deny that back in the day he was a major talent and for me Man In The Mirror will always be a great song and one of my favorites!

Yes and I have a great sympathy for him..he was a wonderful talent. I was sorry when he had to retire from entertaining he was a great mind.
