Back in the City
So now we're back in the city and I was walking the dog this morning when I came across this and had to take a photo of it. You see some outrageous things in the city, but when I saw this stuffed animal peeking out of the garbage can I had to laugh and then I kind of felt sorry for it. He looked so pitiful stuffed in that can all by his lonesome. Is it crazy to feel something about an object that's not living and breathing? Sometimes I feel that way about stuffed animals, like they have feelings too -- crazy? Probably so, but I did feel a little bad for this guy, thinking he was probably a good companion at one time to somebody.

Welcome back! That picture is hysterical.. I know what you mean though... I get really sentimental about stuffed animals too. I have a couple of my own (yes I am too big for that) and get really protective over them.. the dogs are not allowed to have them..lol
I had so many growing up and such wonderful memories. I used to think they had feelings and would come alive at night to protect me when I was sleeping. the silly things we think of as kids.
I get sentimental about anything animal related - stuffed animals, cartoons, pictures, you name it but especially the real, live animal of course. Seeing that bright stuffed animal trying to "climb" out of the trash dumpster makes me feel a little bad for him too.
